Mixed experience

The material for these mats is perfect. Flexible, with some texture, but rubbery or sticky. There was no diagram or instructions included for reference, so it was a bit of a guessing game to get the different pieces into their correct placements. The pieces for the seat backs are great! They fit perfectly and the velcro backing works well. It holds securely, but is not so strong that it requires superhuman strength to remove. The big mat for the bottom of the cargo area, however, could be improved. It is shipped folded in quarters, so there are permanent fold ridges across the surface, and it will not lay completely flat which causes items to catch when sliding things in and out of the cargo area. Also note that the mat will not fit correctly if the factory carpet mat is present in the cargo area. The edges of the cargo mat will not sit flush if it is on top of the carpet mat. The cargo mat also had four small pieces of velcro included on the bottom, presumably to help hold it in place. Unfortunately, they were too small and poorly positioned to be of any use, especially with the fold ridges preventing the mat from lying flat. I would like to see the cargo mat have the same amount of velcro as the seat back covers for effectiveness. For the price, I expect better design for this bottom mat. Overall, not ideal, but not worth returning, and will do the job to keep the cargo area protected.
