The Injection Fob is a two piece plastic case that replaces the factory case that comes with the vehicle. For certain 2022-2024 4Runner Toyota applications with push button start only, please see compatibility photo. Injection molded of high strength and impact resistant PC-ABS plastic. Existing valet key, electronics, battery, and seal are reused (not included with purchase) and packaged into the new case. Instead of an annular snap fit, this design bolts together with socket head cap screws for a more rugged and straightforward approach. Assembly requires 3/32" allen key (included). Made in USA.

Button sets include both a "Liftgate" and blank button to accommodate both 3 and 4 button versions. DO NOT USE THREADLOCKER SUCH AS LOCTITE ON THIS PRODUCT!

Tough

I originally wanted it to differentiate between my kwy and my wife's. Little dif i know it was as durable as it was! I accidentally left my fob in my pocket and not only did it go through an entire heavy duty HOT wash cycle, but through a complete dry cycle. I pulled it out of the dryer and to my surprise it works perfectly! Definitely we'll worth the money....and it looks great!

Another awesome purchase

Really well made, the option to have a black or red panic button is a nice touch. Its nice to make the key fob stand out, just another great purchase for the 4Runner!
