The Injection Fob is a two piece plastic case that replaces the factory case that comes with the vehicle. For certain 2022-2024 4Runner Toyota applications with push button start only, please see compatibility photo. Injection molded of high strength and impact resistant PC-ABS plastic. Existing valet key, electronics, battery, and seal are reused (not included with purchase) and packaged into the new case. Instead of an annular snap fit, this design bolts together with socket head cap screws for a more rugged and straightforward approach. Assembly requires 3/32" allen key (included). Made in USA.

Button sets include both a "Liftgate" and blank button to accommodate both 3 and 4 button versions. DO NOT USE THREADLOCKER SUCH AS LOCTITE ON THIS PRODUCT!

Nice and easy!

The fob looks and feels nice over the stock fob. Watching the video on the change over of components made it very easy to change over.

Overall pretty nice, fitment needs work

It looks great, feels pretty solid in the hand. The Solar Octane orange makes my keys easy to spot from a distance and would make a great signaling device in emergencies if I ever need a rescue plane to see me. I was a little disappointed that I had to file the OEM fob's key latch bit to make it take to the slightly off alignment in order to fully engage the key to keep it in the fob. It takes just a little, an nail file/emory board is enough to tweak the parts end, but still.. for a $40 injection molded item, you'd think they'd have this tolerance worked out already.
