We've made sure that if the recovery point you are mounting to is "less than ideal", like the real world tends to be, you will have the "peace of mind" that your Soft Shackle WILL HOLD.
The 1/4" & 5/16" Heavy Duty soft shackles feature a dipped coating.
The 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", & 7/8" Heavy Duty soft shackles feature a fiberlock braided jacket.
