Shellz is installed directly over the OEM center grille bar. They may be used to cover scratches and minor dents and dings, but they should not be used as a replacement for the factory grille. Ordering a quantity of 1 will give you the large center bar grille overlay and/or one set of 2 upper grille bars.

Upper Grille Bars: Optional TPO will be sent with Matte Black upper grille bars if selected. All other colors will come with upper grille bars in selected colors.

The overlay is asymmetrical and will not cover the entirety of the grille bar; this is problematic for adhesion to the grille bar as one side will not fully adhere due to the unevenness. Despite this it still looks decent if you can tolerate it being loose and asymmetrical.

Matte Black looks good but could be better

This cover looks good and fits very well. Easy install, especially in comparison to putting on vinyl wrap in this particular area or swapping the grill. No gaps or jagged edges as mentioned in another review; it's a very good fit all the way around if you follow the instructions that come with it. The matte color works well with the grille itself, but doesn't even remotely match the sheen of the black that's below the grill as that's more of a satin or gloss than matte. We thought about painting the grill garnish and bar overlays satin black before install but decided against it because bugs, rock chips, etc might mean I'd be removing and repainting these pieces in the future. Also considered buying the gloss one, but again I assumed it would get scratched easily since it's just a piece of plastic. Like I said, the matte black looks pretty good even if it doesn't exactly match the sheen of the black that's beneath the grille. In all, I'd buy this again because it's not really that expensive, was super easy to install and looks pretty good.

Bought then Returned

So I bought this grill garnish with blacked out bars when I owned a 22 Trd OR. In the interim of ordering and receiving item I traded in that 4R and bought a 23 Trd OR PremX. Once I recieved the items I followed the pages instructions for return and refund. And in a very timely manner and a few back and forth emails the items were recieved back at the 4Rlifestyle ware house and a few days later I was refunded. Excellent customer service.
