Anytime Backup and Front Camera For 4Runner

I bought this on sale for a few bucks off (10% maybe, I don't recall). Package came quickly in the mail - no issues. Installation was pretty straightforward although essentially no instructions came with it (just Google up an install video and follow along). I did NOT need a right-angle drill to drill the hole for the camera. The hardest part of the whole thing was cranking down the nut that secures the camera - there's very limited space for a wrench and there's a lip in the way. I ended up threading a socket over the camera and then used a pair of pliers to crank down the nut. The nut bites into the plastic bumper, so it doesn't need to be tightened all that hard. Other than the camera installation itself, this is pretty much just an exercise in routing wires. I didn't shrink tube the camera connection in the engine bay as shown in the video - the connection seemed pretty tight itself, and I doubt the shrink tubing added any additional waterproofing anyway. I have an SSO bumper with a bull bar, and while you can see the bull bar on camera, it doesn't negatively impact the view. Everything worked as expected after install, and I'd recommend this to anyone who wants/needs a front camera. PS - you CAN turn the front or back camera on while driving, but it made me nauseous after a few seconds.

Not sure about the word premium camera but it works.

Anytime camera - front

The Anytime camera is not only great for off road but also great for pulling my 4runner into the garage over a hydraulic lift on a steep driveway. I used to have to move the car back and forth a few times to align the car over the fixed position hydraulic lift in order to raise the car. Now I can align the car perfectly over the lift with one try. The installation is super easy by following the instructions. Just read the instructions carefully as you don't need to connect all wires not applicable to your year/model or camera type.
