Here is my review for the Fang Lights and TRD Pro Grill with 4 Raptor Lights.
I purchased these for my wife’s 2023 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium. I am an average person when it comes to installing these types of things on vehicles. I watched several videos online for the installation of these items and it really helped. When removing the front bumper for the fang lights, take your time, know where the screws are and how to remove the clips. I used the plastic interior wedges to help with the clips on the bumper wheel well. Once the bumper is removed, everything comes apart pretty easy and installing the fang lights and the TRD grill/Raptor lights were pretty easy/straight forward.
A couple of things I learns and did a lot of research on. Both light systems require you to tap into the INJ fuse which is under the hood of the vehicle. I was able to use a T Splice connection to connect the Fang Lights into the Raptor Lights. I then drilled a small hole into the side of the top fuse box, ran the red wire into the fuse box and into the INJ slot. I was able to get the fuse box lid closed, but it is bulging at the top.
Now onto the Fang Lights. I ordered the Amber Fang Lights (Not the Switch Back). As stated, the red wire I spliced into the red wire of the Raptor Lights and the ground I connected to a ground next to the fuse box. The Fang Lights then only had a yellow wire left to connect. The driver side Fang Light wire connects to the yellow wire for the turn signal. I used a T-Splice to connect the yellow Fang Light wire into the yellow turn signal wire. On the passenger side, the yellow Fang Light actually connects to the light blue wire of the turn signal (again used a T-Splice).
With everything hooked up, I prayed and turned the car on. To my amazement, everything worked exactly as it should. The raptor lights turn on when the car turns on and remains on until I turn them off. If you are advanced, you can hook them up to a switch inside the passenger compartment. The fang lights also come on when the car is turned on. The have a cool start up sequence and remain on while the vehicle is on. When you turn on the turn signal, they have a cool sequence with the actual turn signal.
The combination looks great and I was able to complete everything within about 3 hours. Pretty easy for the most part and everything looks great. Attached is a start up video.
