I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the build quality of this bumper. Everything lined up so well on assembly I was constantly wondering what I'd forgotten because nothing goes this well in my life. My only reason for concern was that other than a decent-ish youtube video by CBI there is no installation material for this bumper. If you've ever built anything in your life you'll figure it out easy enough, but I'd argue the video is crucial in determining where to cut on your bumper.
I used a Milwaukee M12 cut off tool with a PVC wheel to cut the bumper and a cordless Dremel to make the necessary notches in the plastic air dams on each side. A quick swipe with a deburring tool was all that was needed to clean up the edges.
I mounted a Diode Dynamics SS30 light bar in it and that went together fine. But I also installed a Warn Evo 10k winch and this was the most problematic part of the whole process. Specifically the winch solenoid box that doesn't clear the power steering line. I made 4 1.25" spacers and got the appropriate m5 screws and mounted it over the top of it. Not sure how good of an idea this is, but it's solid and I'm gonna give it a go. There was an outfit I found that made an aluminum bracket of sorts called the Maner Mount for the 4Runner (cheap) that I probably should of bought and still may down the road if my mounting goes sideways.
I did this with a little help from our good buddy Jameson in an afternoon, and I can't complain about alignment or anything, it all just fell into place. Even the brackets that hold the factory bumper at each side went together and aligned with minimal effort. Now I suppose this is the part where I should say this was installed on a 2018 SR5 Prem with only 14,xxx miles on it, so your experience may vary on fitment. But I'd say if this fits your bill, I wouldn't hesitate on it. She's rock solid and looks like it'll last the lifetime of the vehicle.
